Shakyla Hill’s assist with the closing seconds of Grambling State’s 93-71 win Wednesday over Alabama State gave the junior guard the fourth quadruple-double in NCAA women’s history.

Hill had 15 points along with 10 assists, 10 rebounds and 10 steals.

The last quadruple-double was by Soja Tate of Arkansas State against Mississipp­i Valley State on Jan. 27, 1993. Tate had 29 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals.

HIGHLIGHT

LaShann Higgs scored a career-high 30 points and Brooke McCarty added 21 to help No. 8 Texas beat No. 20 Oklahoma State 84-79. … Peyton Williams scored 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as Kansas State beatNo. 12

Braian Angola scored 20 points and C.J. Walker added 18 as 24th-ranked Florida State held off No. 12 North Carolina for an 8180 victory.

The Seminoles led most of the game but almost squandered it as they didn’t make a field goal in the last 2:57 and missed their last four free throws.

Florida State’s home winning streak is 28, the NCAA’s third current longest. Joel Berry led the Tar Heels with 28 points.

HIGHLIGHTS

Donte Grantham scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, and Marcquise Reed hit two key free throws to help No. 25 Clemson beat Boston College 74-70 in its first game in the national rankings in nearly eight years.
