Once in a while, the Colorado craft beer calendar aligns for an amazing day of special releases — and Saturday is one you shouldn’t miss.

A handful of the trendiest breweries and longtime favorites are debuting dark, delicious stouts and porters, hazy IPAs and sours. To help plan your day, with the help of a designated driver, here’s an itinerary.

Start here at 10 a.m. for the Work From Home beer breakfast, where you can try a breakfast porter brewed with maple syrup and coffee, including a version aged in Breckenridge Bourbon barrels. A $40 ticket includes the beers, a mug and a waffle and side of bacon. If you miss Saturday, another session starts at 11 a.m. Sunday. 1477 Monroe St.;

On your way to Longmont (see below), stop at Four Noses for the 11 a.m. release of Lupulin Meridian, a hybrid IPA with more hops than you can imagine. 8855 W. 116th Circle #4,

Cigar City Brewing’s Hunahpu Day in Tampa, Fla., is legendary. And now that Cigar City is owned by the Oskar Blues team, you can try the special release of the imperial stout here in Colorado. The rare beer — brewed with cacao nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon, and guajillo, ancho and pasilla chiles — starts flowing at noon at the Tasty Weasel in Longmont. 1800 Pike

The brewery’s second anniversary means a release of a three special beers — One More Time, a double-dry hopped IPA with Citra, Mosaic and Columbus hops; a Galaxy Double-Dry Hopped East Coast Transplant; and a new beer named Two, which is a rum-barrel aged version of Dyad, a kombucha sour ale dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops. The doors open at 11 a.m. but the live music doesn’t start until 1 p.m., so it makes a good stop on the way back toward Denver.

If you can make a pit stop between brewery visits, River North is releasing its hazy IPA, Mountain Haze, in cans, from noon to 9 p.m. A sixpack is $12. 6021 Washington

Where did the day go? If you can make it, from 1-5 p.m., Station 26 Brewing in Denver is releasing crowlers (32-ounce cans) of their Key Lime Sherbert, a kettle-soured beer with lactose, vanilla and key lime. The crowlers are $12 a person. 7045 E. 38th Ave.,
