RELEASED INMATE BACK IN CUSTODY
An undocumented man suspected of killing the driver of an 18-wheeler in a hit-and-run crash is in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Denver7 reported.
According to records posted on the ICE’s website, Ivan Zamarripa-Castaneda, 26, was listed in custody as of Friday afternoon. ICE told Denver7 that Zamarripa-Castaneda walked into their offices on his own.
The Mexican national, wanted by ICE for possible deportation, was arrested and booked into the Denver County Jail on vehicular homicide charges after a deadly hit-and-crash on March 4.
Less than a week later, Zamarripa-Castaneda paid a $25,000 bond and was released from Denver jail despite an ICE detainer hold placed on the suspect.

The shooting happened before 5:30 p.m. in the area of East 13th Avenue and Sable Boulevard.
At 6:05 p.m., police said the shooting was a fatality and the suspect has been taken into custody.
Police in Aurora responded to two other shootings on Friday, one in the area of East Mississippi Avenue and South Peoria Street in which a woman was taken to a local hospital. Shots were also fired at the Town Center of Aurora.

Paso County coroner has identified a suspect fatally shot by Colorado Springs police following an allegedly armed standoff at a Travel Star Motel.
He was identified as Corky Lee Oliver, 31.
