Deputy hurt in chase.

Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted to pull over a car in Loveland on Saturday night, leading to a chase down Garfield Avenue and eventually sending the suspected driver and a deputy to a hospital.

Fort Collins Police Services alerted Larimer deputies that the blue 1997 Honda Accord hadn’t pulled over during a traffic stop, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies spotted the car around North Garfield Avenue and East 57th Street around 9:30 p.m.

After observing traffic violations, deputies attempted to pull over the Accord, sparking the pursuit. The Accord, which the sheriff’s office said was driven by Eric Guerin, 28, did not stop. Deputies put a tracking device on the car and stopped the chase.

Deputies then contacted Guerin at his home. The sheriff’s office said Guerin resisted arrest, sending him and a deputy to the hospital. The deputy had nonlifethreatening injuries, and Guerin was sent as a precaution. He was booked into Larimer County Jail.

Four injured in crash.

Three children and a man were ejected from a car during a rollover crash Sunday on Colorado 82 north of Carbondale.

Colorado State Patrol Trooper Chris Simpson said the 42yearold male and two of the minors had critical injuries. The third child had minor injuries.
