SAN JOSE, CALIF. of San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster has submitted a video to prosecutor­s to support her statement that she lied when she told authoritie­s Foster had hit her.

But Santa Clara County prosecutor Jim Dermertzis said Monday that the district attorney’s office will continue to prosecute a domestic violence case against Foster even if his ex-girlfriend, Elissa Ennis, does not cooperate with the investigat­ion.

Foster was present at Monday’s hearing where the video was discussed but did not speak.

Millen has rare ailment.

PA.» Former NFL ALLENTOWN, player and general manager Matt Millen says he is being treated for a rare disease that has robbed his heart of most of its normal function. The 60-year-old Millen told the Morning Call newspaper he has been diagnosed with amyloidosi­s, a life-threatenin­g illness that may force him to seek a heart transplant. Millen has been receiving chemothera­py once a week to treat a condition that has left his heart functionin­g at just 30 percent. He plans to return to broadcasti­ng this fall.
