BODY FOUND IN HOME OF N.Y.’S JENKINS

N.J.» A body has FAIR LAWN, been found at a New Jersey home owned by Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins.

The Bergen County prosecutor’s office says it is investigat­ing a death at the house in Fair Lawn, about 10 miles north of MetLife Stadium. Property records list Jenkins as the owner.

The prosecutor’s office says the dead man isn’t the house’s owner. His identity wasn’t immediatel­y released. The office didn’t say where Jenkins was when the death occurred.

A spokesman for the Giants says the team is monitoring the situation but didn’t comment further.

Jenkins played at North Alabama before being drafted in the second round by the Rams in 2012. He played four seasons with the Rams and the last two seasons with the Giants.

Ex-NFL, Alabama player arrested.

ST. PETERSBURG,

A former defensive end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the University of Alabama was arrested on drug charges in Florida.

Pinellas County Jail records show Keith McCants, 50, was arrested early Monday near St. Petersburg. He’s charged with a felony count of possession of crack cocaine and driving with a revoked or suspended license. He bonded out of jail, but records don’t list a lawyer.

Jail records show multiple arrests since 2010. His most recent arrest was in January, for driving with a suspended license. Court records show he faces a July 10 court date.

McCants made the AllAmerica team at Alabama and was selected fourth overall by the Buccaneers in the 1990 draft.

Falcons sign Parker.

Falcons signed a one-year deal with safety Ron Parker, who spent the last five seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 30-year-old Parker had 318 tackles, nine intercepti­ons and seven sacks in 80 games with the Chiefs. He started in all 16 games in 2017 and had 67 tackles with two intercepti­ons. — The Associated Press
