This one’s a project, but on 2.5 acres near downtown Littleton, possibilities are big

For as great a place as Denver is to live today, can you imagine what you could’ve built here 50 years ago when land was available? Sister Realtors Alison Brennan and Cara George will give you a glimpse back in time to that world when “The Brady Bunch” was on TV, in an acreage community a mile south of Littleton’s downtown dining district. “ZIP code 80120 is crazy hot,” says Brennan, showing of f 620 Front Range Road, getting its first open house today in a Littleton neighborhood that takes its name from the road that wraps its large sites. This is one of the biggest — almost 2½ acres — displayed enormously from the full-length rear deck of a six-bedroom walkout ranch. There’s a tennis cour t big enough to drop back for lobs, a rock waterfall shaded by maples, and enough room for a couple of horses — allowed by covenant. The 1972 elevation still looks good, even in the Google Map shot. Indoors, No. 620 is a project — a kitchen that needs opening into the living and family areas; a bath count that could use one or two more; a walkout level with four bedrooms down that’s a work in progress; and two of those “passion pit” sunken areas that were the rage when “Hawaii Five-o” was on the air. But this is no scraper, says George. There’s great room for kids to roam on bikes, three trails nearby, good bones and inquiries already coming in from potential buyers. Brennan and George have it priced at $1.178 million (they sold a similar plan two houses north last year that needed just a little less work on a smaller lot at almost $372,000 more). Schools here are very good, including Runyon Elementary, 9-of-10 stars at Greatschools.org. For this opening showing, they’ll have champagne and a charcuterie spread, 11to-1 today. Take Ridge Road west from Broadway a mile to Windermere, head south a half mile to a right on Front Range Road and follow its circular path on a counterclockwise loop to the home.
