Ladies, your journey to love -— or just reality TV and Instagram ad stardom — could start next Thursday. And by that, we mean there’s a casting call for ABC’s “The Bachelor” in Denver.

And don’t go into it thinking it’s a long shot. In the last few seasons, Colorado has produced a bountiful group of “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” contestants: Ben Higgins, Chase McNary, JJ Lane and Lace Morris to name a few. The current season of “The Bachelorette” started with three Colorado men.

While the surprisingly addictive television show may seem shallow, the application is far from it. In fact, applying to meet your soulmate, or whatever, is more in depth than most first date conversations.

But you have to be prepared.

Here’s what you need to know to audition for “The Bachelor”:

Print and fill out the written application at theknow.denverpost.com

Be ready to spill your guts in this six-pager. No, really. These ABC producers are about to get real personal, real fast.

In the first few pages, they want to know pretty average information like your height and weight, occupation and family situation. The following questions get a little more personal to uncover your favorite drink (applicants must be over 21 years old), relationship history and any traumatic breakups.

Plus, there’s a waiver you get to sign!

Dress appropriately

If you’ve ever watched the show, you’ll know they strongly encourage suits, formal gowns and anything you’ve seen in a bridal store.

So basically, dress like that unless you wanna be the one in a dolphin (but really it was a shark) costume.

Show up

What: Denver’s casting call

When: 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday

Where: Blue Moon RiNo Brewery

Audition and video tape

This is a TV show, so be prepared to have photos taken and to be interviewed on camera. According to my in depth research, the video interview is even more personal than the written application.

Expect to tell them about the last time you were in love, your perfect date, your career and relationship goals and how you picture your ideal partner.

Wait

After you’ve applied, you simply have to wait to see if ABC contacts you ... or doesn’t. But at least you put your heart on the line for love.

In case you can’t make the casting call, you can also send your materials through the mail or apply online at casting.bachelor.warnerbros.com
