50 former and current students of the University of Southern California said Monday in a new lawsuit that the school mishandled complaints that a longtime gynecologi­st engaged in inappropri­ate behavior during pelvic exams.

The number of people suing USC and Dr. George Tyndall now tops a hundred, following the new court filing by the firm D. Miller and Associates.

California’s state Department of Education said last month it was investigat­ing USC’s response to allegation­s that Tyndall groped female students during campus office visits and improperly photograph­ed and made comments about the women’s bodies.

Infowars host Alex Jones moves to dismiss Sandy Hook lawsuit.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones argued he was acting as a journalist, comparing himself to the Washington Post reporters who uncovered the Watergate scandal, when he questioned the official narrative of the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting on his talk show.

In written arguments filed Friday, the rightwing radio host moved to dismiss a defamation lawsuit filed by the families of some of the 26 people killed in the Connecticu­t shooting. Jones acknowledg­ed that he had called the shooting a hoax, but said he now believes it happened.

U.S. group: North Korea dismantlin­g key launch site facilities.

A U.S. research group says North Korea has started dismantlin­g key facilities at its main satellite launch site in what appears to be a step toward fulfilling a commitment made by leader Kim Jong Un at his summit with President Donald Trump in June.

The 38 North website says recent satellite images indicate the North began dismantlin­g a rocket engine test stand and other facilities at the site in what appeared to be a confidence­building measure with the United States.
