Paul Manafort’s tax preparers admitted Friday that she helped disguise $900,000 in foreign income as a loan to reduce the former Trump campaign chairman’s tax burden.

The testimony of tax preparer Cindy Laporta came as prosecutor­s from special counsel Robert Mueller’s office focused on the heart of their financial fraud case against Manafort, with jurors hearing testimony that he inflated his business income by millions of dollars and concealed foreign bank accounts he was using to buy luxury items and pay personal expenses.

Two Florida police officers plead guilty to framing innocent black teen for burglaries.

Two former Biscayne Park, Fla., police officers pleaded guilty Friday to framing an innocent teenager with a string of home burglaries at the direction of the chief so his department could boast a perfect property crime-solving record.

The officers, Charlie Dayoub, 38, and Raul Fernandez, 62, admitted they falsified arrest affidavits for the 16-year-old black suspect for four unsolved break-ins in June 2013, a month before then-Police Chief Raimundo Atesiano touted the town’s 100 percent burglary clearance record at a village commission meeting.

Atesiano told the two officers that he wanted them to unlawfully arrest T.D., the teen, for the residentia­l burglaries.

A group of California co-workers who decided to play the lottery on a whim won last month’s $543 million Mega Millions jackpot, the largest prize ever on a single state ticket, the California Lottery said Friday.

The 11 co-workers who work in the financial industry in the San Francisco Bay Area said they don’t have a regular lottery pool but decided to chip in $2 apiece when they heard how big the jackpot had become, lottery officials said Friday.

Police say suspect in Bush’s doctor’s death killed himself.

A man accused of killing one of former President George H.W. Bush’s doctors fatally shot himself during a confrontat­ion with authoritie­s Friday morning in Houston, the city’s police chief said.

Joseph James Pappas, 62, was accused of shooting Dr. Mark Hausknecht on July 20, while the cardiologi­st rode his bike to work at Houston Methodist Hospital.

Authoritie­s have said Pappas might have been seeking revenge for his mother, who died on the doctor’s operating table more than 20 years ago, in April 1997.

Rick Genest, a Quebec model known for his headto-toe tattoos and participat­ion in the Lady Gaga music video “Born This Way,” has died, his talent agency said.

Dulcedo Management confirmed on Facebook late Thursday the passing of Genest, who was better known as Zombie Boy. Dulcedo Management said it “was in shock” and called the 32-year-old represente­d by the agency an “icon of the artistic scene and of the fashion world.”
