Recycled news on Russia meeting
Re: “Trump acknowledges, defends his son’s meeting,” Aug. 6 news story
Why did The Denver Post run a front page article in Monday’s paper about year-old news, as if it was just happening?
I remember last year reading and seeing on TV that a Russian woman had approached Donald Trump Jr. claiming to have harmful information on Hillary Clinton.
Trump Jr. supposedly said, “I love it,” and allowed her to meet with him and two or three other staff. When it turned out the woman wanted to talk about adoption of Russian children, they lost interest and terminated the meeting.
It is now being reported as if it was a brand new revelation that somehow incriminates Donald Trump. First of all, every campaign looks for information they can use against opponents, second, it didn’t result in anything, and third, it was known a year ago. So why is it front-page news now?
