Looking Ahead
Rockies RHP Antonio Senzatela (46, 5.01) at Giants RHP Dereck Rodriguez (63, 2.35), 2 p.m. Sunday; ATTRM, 630 AM For all of the concern over lefthander Tyler Anderson’s slump, Senzatela has not been pitching very well either. He’s not recorded a win since July 28 and hasn’t won a road game since April 27 when he was working out of the bullpen. In his six starts since Aug. 2, the righthander is 03 with a 5.01 ERA and Colorado is 24. Rodriquez, the son of Hall of Fame catcher Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez, is having a breakout rookie season, tossing 13 quality starts in 16 outings. His 2.35 ERA is the seventhlowest in the big leagues, among pitchers with at least 100 innings. The 26yearold righthander made his bigleague debut against the Rockies at Coors Field on May 29, allowing four runs over 3L innings. He pitched at Coors again on Sept. 4 in Colorado’s 62 win, coming away with a nodecision. Rodriguez gave up just one run on six hits over six innings.
