Nothing about Tailhook merits public debate

- Re: Re: Victor Ament,

How can The Denver Post editorial board say it is “fundamentally fair” to ask lieutenant governor candidate Lang Sias about the 1991 Tailhook scandal given that Sias was never accused of misconduct and never alleged by anyone more credible than extreme partisan Pat “j’accuse” Schroeder of witnessing anyone else’s misconduct?

Similarly, contrary to The Post’s assertion, it is not fair or rational for former U.S. Rep. Schroeder to “express disbelief” over Mr. Sias’ absolutely credible — and supported by multiple investigations — denials.

There is literally nothing about Tailhook that

The Colorado Department of Transportation wants to add one toll lane on each side of Interstate 25 to deal with over crowding of the road from Johnstown to Ft. Collins.

But all the lanes of the already widened I25 stretch from 120th to Highway 66 are free and run heavy during the day. (I get off at Highway 66 and go West to U.S. 287 to go north to Loveland because of the jam on I25.)

I offer that I25 be widened to accommodate two new lanes on each side from Johnstown through Ft Collins with one of those lanes being a toll lane similar to I25 in the north Denver suburbs to handle traffic beyond the next 20 years.
