Brits unhappy to learn Trump visit cost police $24 million.

President Trump spent only four days in Britain in July, but a lot happened in that short time. Londoners flew a giant blimp depicting the president as a diapered baby above Parliament Square. Tens of thousands of people, if not more, took to the streets to protest his visit, in one of the largest demonstrations London had seen since 1 million people gathered to march against the Iraq War.

And when Trump visited Queen Elizabeth II for tea, he famously walked in front of her, eclipsing the world’s longestserving monarch and prompting outrage on Twitter.

So not all Brits were happy to learn this week that his short stay cost police nearly $24 million, according to a recent police estimate.
