At least four people were involved in a shooting that left two injured Saturday night in Brighton, but police have not made any arrests in connection with the incident.

Brighton police responded to a report of a gunshot victim after 7:30 p.m., on Bluebird Street, and while there, received another call about a man in same neighborhood with a gun, Brighton police said in a news release Monday.

Officers located the first victim and then learned there was a second victim in the same area, according to the release. The person found with a gun while running through a neighborhood also was a shooting victim, police said.

The police department issued a CodeRed, asking residents to shelter in place, as they searched the area, the release stated. Officers lifted the order after realizing the person with the gun was connected to the earlier shooting.
