Snoop Dog, Zeds Dead and more
Snoop Dogg’s annual 420 Wellness Retreat, a musical celebration of all things cannabis, is back at Red Rocks just before the unofficial stoner holiday of 4/20. The April 16 show will feature performances from Wiz Khalifa, Cypress Hill and more to be announced, with tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 7. ($76.50-$135, axs.com)
Icelandic act Kaleo didn’t quite sell out Red Rocks Amphitheatre when it played its first headlining show there in 2018. But promoters are inviting the band back for a July 21 show that will no doubt fill up quickly, given the band’s other sell-outs and Grammy-nominated successes of late. Tickets for the set, with Matt Maeson and Belle Mt., drop at 10 a.m. Feb. 7. ($48.50-$70, axs.com)
Zeds Dead, an electronic act that annually takes over Red Rocks, plans to decamp to Denver’s Mission Ballroom after its next run at the Morrison amphitheater on July 2-3. Tickets for the July 4, “Deadbeats Hangover” show at Mission are on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 7. ($40.50-$79, axs.com)
Goo Goo Dolls, a band that still occasionally betrays its heavy Replacements influences, has a Red Rocks date lined up for July 29 as part of its Miracle Pill Tour, which also features Lifehouse and Forest Blakk. Tickets, $45-$85, are available starting at 10 a.m. Feb. 7 on axs.com.
Incubus, 311 and Badflower will get the sea of dudes (and some ladies) moving at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on July 25. Get your rap-rock dollars ready when tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 7. They’re $36.75-$126 on axs.com.
Boz Scaggs and his famous pipes will serenade fans in Grand Junction (June 11 at the Amphitheatre at Las Colonias Park) and Colorado Springs (June 13 at Pikes Peak Center) this summer, with tickets for the latter on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 7. ($40-$90, axs.com)
