WHAT FANS CAN EXPECT AT BRONCOS GAMES

Season ticket holders have priority; face coverings required

-

In a letter sent to Broncos’ season ticket holders Wednesday morning, the team announced its plan for fans in a reduced capacity situation and the safety measures that will need to be followed.

“Based on local and league health policies, we unfortunately will be unable to host all season-ticket members at Broncos games this year,” the letter stated.

Among the items highlighted in the letter:

• Season-ticket holders will have first priority for single-game tickets and parking passes, and the Broncos will contact interested fans regarding game and seat availability. Fans can use funds already paid for 2020 season tickets toward singlegame purchases.

• Social distancing and face coverings will be required if fans are permitted to attend Broncos games. The stadium will also feature cashless concession options, touchless bathroom fixtures, sanitation stations and the latest air purification technology.

• Fans who don’t want to attend any home games this year can choose between receiving a full refund or a credit rolled over to 2021. There will be no penalty to a fan’s priority number if they opt out of this year’s games. Fans who prefer a refund must make their request by Aug. 14.

• Even if a season-ticket holder asks for a refund or credit, they can still purchase single-game tickets depending on availability and capacity requirements.

• Club-seat ticket members have the same option (refund or credit) as reserved season-ticket holders. The team will pause club-seat contracts for the 2020 season. Terms and pricing of existing contracts will not change.

• All 2020 season-ticket holders will have the option to renew their exact seats for 2021.

The Broncos did not specify a desired attendance figure for home games this year, opting to wait until hearing a decision from local government officials.

The Broncos said in the letter they have, “worked closely with local government officials and the National Football League, following the latest guidelines and recommendations from public health experts.”
