SUSPECT ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO THREE BODIES
Federal agents arrested a Colorado man wanted in connection with the discovery of three bodies on two remote properties in the San Luis Valley.
Agents from the Colorado Springs field office of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrested Adre “Psycho” Baroz on Thursday afternoon after finding him in a motel in Gallup, N. M., according to a news release from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
Baroz, 26, is being held in the McKinley County Detention Center in Gallup on charges of first- degree murder, first- degree assault and second- degree kidnapping. His arrest warrant remained sealed Thursday, and investigators have offered few details about how they connected him to the bodies.
Investigators said Wednesday it would take weeks to identify the bodies found last week on two properties near Los Sauces in Conejos County. Police in the area have investigated several missing- persons reports in the past few months, but it’s too early to tell if the bodies are linked to any of those reports. Law enforcement discovered the bodies while serving a search warrant related to stolen vehicles and construction equipment.
Baroz has a lengthy criminal record in Colorado, including convictions for assault, escape and theft. He also has four criminal cases open against him, online court records show. Baroz was due in court Wednesday for hearings in three of those cases.
