There are lots of things families like about Erie right now—the new infrastructure they see in schools, parks, and trails, the commute, the small-town atmosphere, and big views of the Indian Peaks behind Boulder. Those buyers like the prices, too, compared to Broomfield, Louisville, and other areas this close to Boulder County—all the more so after an opening of some new, roomy pairedhomes you can attend today, priced from the $420s.

You’ll get a coffee brew of your choice today, 1-to-3 p.m., as KB Home shows off its newest ‘Villas’ paired homes at Colliers Hill—the size and openness of single-family homes at prices well below what new single-family homes here run.

Those new models are wrapped by amenities, including Erie’s new PK-8 STEM school within walking distance. That starting price from the $420s really will deliver a home, including a lot premium and standard features such as KB Home’s energy and water conservation features, certified by a third-party inspector to meet or beat Energy Star and EPA’s WaterSense standards.

To put that price in perspective, that’s $80,000 less than the median priced single-family home sold for in the Denver area last month. And it’s a rare example of a new home that’s priced inside the loan amount guidelines for FHA financing.

Work-from-home space

You’ll get to tour KB Home’s newest Villa plan, the 1934, with over 1,900 sq. feet of finished area, three bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, and an upstairs loft area that features the new home office concept. You can personalize your paired home within your budget at the KB Home Design Studio.

KB Home is readying deliveries of paired homes in a neighborhood with an open space inside and trail access—some on track to be ready by May. Those include a 1754 plan, three bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, and two spaces for work-from-home, one a main-floor den. It’s priced at $503,000; including the option of a 9-foot basement and numbers of upgrades such as solidstate kitchen tops and upgraded cabinets.

Randy Carpenter, Division President at KB Home Colorado, notes that this same collection was a quick sell-out in Broomfield, at higher prices than you’ll see here.

During your visit, you’ll see that new STEM science and technology school close by, Colliers Hill’s beautiful pool club with mountain views, and where a new pool club is coming a short walk from these homes. Take Erie Parkway west from

I-25 two miles, just past the high school, to County Road 5 and turn right.

Along with the models, you’ll see delivery homes of the same plans set for May and June move-ins, priced from just $470,000
