Jazz say they will investigate allegation of bigoted comment. The Utah Jazz said they will “thoroughly investigate” an allegation from former NBA player Elijah Millsap that longtime team executive Dennis Lindsey directed a bigoted statement toward him during an end-of-season exit interview in 2015. Millsap, the brother of former Jazz standout and current Denver forward Paul Millsap, made the allegation in a tweet Wednesday. Millsap alleged that Lindsey, then the team’s general manager, said “if u say one more word, I’ll cut your Black ass and send you back to Louisiana.”

The Broncos’ defense continued to be re-shaped Thursday when the team released defensive end Jurrell Casey.
Casey, 31, was limited to three games last year because of a Week 3 biceps tendon injury.
The move creates $11,874,750 in cap space and comes two weeks after cornerback A.J. Bouye was cut to free up $13,218,750.
Casey was a no-risk acquisition last March — the Broncos gave up a seventhround pick to the Tennessee Titans for the five-time Pro Bowl selection. The Broncos declined to re-sign Derek Wolfe and Adam
Gotsis, who ended up with Baltimore and Jacksonville, respectively, believing the durable Casey would be an upgrade.
But after missing only four games in nine years for the Titans, Casey was injured in the loss to Tampa Bay and finished with 14 tackles (no sacks) and three pass break-ups in 156 snaps.
All four of the defensive ends on the 2020 Week 1 roster missed time because of injury or illness. Casey missed 13 games, Dre’Mont Jones (knee) and DeMarcus Walker (calf) three games apiece and Shelby Harris five games (four with COVID-19 and one with a knee).
Casey is gone and Harris and Walker are scheduled for free agency next month.
Jones’ strong second half of 2020 (10 1/2 pass-rush “disruptions,” including four sacks) has him penciled in to be a starter this year.
Even before releasing Casey, the Broncos had plenty of cap space for outside linebacker Von Miller (currently a team-high $22.125 million) and safety Justin Simmons (via longterm deal or the estimated franchise tag of around $13.7 million). General manager George Paton now has more cap flexibility to be active in free agency or allocate money toward resigning Harris.
TENN.» Tyus Jones MEMPHIS, scored a career-high 20 points, the Memphis defense held Kawhi Leonard and Paul George to sub-standard nights and the Grizzlies beat the Los Angeles Clippers.
Yelp users have named their top 100 restaurants of 2021, and four Colorado destinations made the list. “Nearly all of our Top 100 are affordable spots where you can enjoy a meal for $30 or under and most are new entries to the list this year,” Yelp published on its blog last week.
To compile the list, Yelp looked to user submissions, its own national restaurant ratings and input from the site’s city managers.
Here are the four restaurants from Colorado that made the cut:
