Gray has been excellent in four starts since coming off the injured list — going 2-0 with a 2.35 ERA, 16 hits, eight walks and 30 strikeouts. His eight quality starts this season are tied for second on the team with Austin Gomber. Gray has also been excellent at Coors Field, allowing more than two earned runs just twice this season. The righthande­r will make his third start of the year against the Dodgers on Sunday. He is 0-1 with a 4.00 ERA in his two previous outings against LA. Price is 1-2 with a 5.18 ERA lifetime against the Rockies over six career games (three starts). Price has made three relief appearance­s against Colorado this season, giving up two runs through 3-2/3 innings.

Trending: Entering Saturday night, the Rockies were tied for the second-most MLB home victories (31) and sixth in home winning percentage (.633). Colorado plays its next three games at Coors Field.

At issue: Rockies starters had compiled 495 innings pitched before Saturday’s game for second-most in the NL behind the Dodgers.
