Senzatela is making his first start since signing a five- year, $ 50.5 million contract extension in October. He was 4- 10 last season but deserved a better record. He had 105 strikeouts vs. just 32 walks. The right- hander was 3- 3 with a 3.97 ERA in 15 starts at Coors Field, allowing just five home runs while limiting opponents to a .274 average. He has not pitched well vs. the Dodgers, going 4- 5 with a 6.16 ERA in 14 games ( 12 starts).

Urias is 32- 10 with four saves and a 3.09 ERA in 106 games ( 70 starts) in six seasons with Los Angeles. He last faced the Rockies on Sept. 21 at Coors Field, pitching six innings in the Dodgers’ 5- 4 victory. In 18 games vs. Colorado ( 15 starts), he’s 4- 1 with a 5.16 ERA. The 10 homers he’s served up to the Rockies are the most he’s given up to any team.

Trending: L. A.’ s Gavin Lux entered Saturday’s game having hit safely in 11 of his 14 career games at Coors Field, batting .302 ( 16 for 53) with one homer and eight RBIS.

At issue: The Rockies entered Saturday night’s game with a 3- 8 record their last 11 games against the Dodgers in Denver. The Dodgers were 49- 20 against Colorado overall since 2018.
