Rockies RHP Ryan Feltner (0- 0, 0.00) at Phillies LHP Ranger Suarez (1- 0, 4.38) 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Citizens Bank Park TV: ATTRM Radio: 850 AM/94.1 FM Feltner will be called up from Triple-a Albuquerque to make a spot start. The Rockies’ regular rotation was thrown off-kilter by a rainout and the subsequent doubleheader last weekend in Detroit. The right-hander will make his first start of 2022, his second start at Citizens Bank Park, and his third career big-league start. He made his debut on Sept. 5 last season at Coors Field and got hit hard by Atlanta. The Braves blasted him for three home runs, and six earned runs overall, in just 3M innings. He pitched against the Phillies on Sept. 12, allowing two runs on four hits across 3M inning. He walked three and struck out six. Feltner has made four starts with the Isotopes this season, going 2- 0 with a 3.10 ERA.

His 24 strikeouts lead the Pacific Coast League. Suarez pitched well at Coors Field last week, allowing one run on five hits over six innings. In three starts against Colorado, he’s 1- 0 with a 4.38

ERA, allowing seven walks while striking out seven. In his last start, Suarez allowed one run on four hits and three walks over 4 innings in Phillies’ 4-2 win over Milwaukee. He struck out four but did not factor in the decision.

C.J. Cron entered Tuesday’s game in a 1-for-16 slump that included six strikeouts. He broke out of the slump with a 2-for-3 night.

Third baseman Ryan Mcmahon is struggling against left-handed pitching. He’s 0-for-12 vs. southpaws this season.
