1. Cherry Creek (8-1) won at Arapahoe, 42-7: Jordan Herron ran in a pair of touchdowns in the first half, Logan Brantley intercepte­d two passes and the Bruins defense held an opponent under 10 points for the fourth straight week to clinch a share of the Centennial League crown. 2. Valor Christian (7-2) won at No. 6 Thunderrid­ge, 197: Asher Weiner ran in a pair of TDS, Mason Walters drilled a 27-yard field goal and the Eagles tacked on a safety in a dominant defensive performanc­e. Next week: at Mountain Vista, 7 p.m. Oct. 28

3. Ralston Valley (7-2) won vs. Chatfield, 27-20: QB Logan Madden found Josh Rillos for three TD passes in the first half, Diano Benallo ran in a 1-yard score to give

RV a 27-10 lead with 2:43 left in the third quarter, and the Mustangs held off a spirited Chatfield rally to claim the 5A Jeffco League title. Next week: vs. Arvada West, 7 p.m. Oct. 28

4. Columbine (8-1) won at Lakewood, 56-7: Four different runners scored touchdowns, including three scores from Marquane Taylor, as the Rebels topped 50 points for the second straight week. Next week: at Chatfield, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28

5. Regis Jesuit (6-3) won vs. Legend, 26-11: Albert Medina found the end zone twice in the first half, and Adin Chase helped put things away with a third-quarter TD run as the Raiders locked up a share of a league title. Next week: vs. Fountain-fort Carson, 2 p.m. Oct. 29

6. Thunderrid­ge (8-1) lost vs. No. 2 Valor Christian, 19-7: Jake Young’s kick return touchdown provided the only points of the night for the Grizzlies, who were dealt a league loss by Valor for the fourth time in five seasons. Next week: at Rock Canyon, 7 p.m. Oct. 28

7. Grandview (7-2) won vs. Cherokee Trail, 28-0: Late Friday. Next week: at No. 1 Cherry Creek, 7 p.m. Oct. 28

8. Pine Creek (7-2) won at Douglas County, 38-13: Cameron Cooper threw a pair of TD passes, and Mason Miller threw for one score and ran for another as the Eagles took at 31-0 halftime lead and cruised from there. Next week: vs. Chaparral, 1 p.m. Oct. 29

9. Legacy (7-2) won vs. Horizon, 42-13: The Hawks put a brief scare into Legacy with a 13-point second quarter that drew the score to 21-13 going into halftime, but the Lightning responded with a 21-0 second half lock up its seventh straight win. Next week: at Brighton, 7 p.m. Oct.

Fossil Ridge (7-2) lost at Fairview, 42-26: The Sabercats’ stay in the Top 10 is likely to be short-lived after the Knights got two rushing touchdowns from Zach Lewis in the second half for their sixth straight win. Fossil Ridge kicker Bryce Olson hit a 53-yard field goal in the loss. Next week: at Powder, 7 p.m. Oct. 28

CLASS 4A

1. Palmer Ridge (9-0) won at Cheyenne Mountain, 5626: The Bears scored 42 points in the first quarter to pull away early from Cheyenne Mountain and set up a league championsh­ip showdown with Vista Ridge. Next week: at No. 7 Vista Ridge, 7 p.m. Oct. 28

2. Broomfield (9-0) won vs. No. 8 Fruita Monument, 21-14: Late Friday. Next week: at No. 9 Heritage, 7 p.m.

3. Loveland (8-1) won at Windsor, 31-0: The Loveland defense shut out an opponent for the third week in a row, running its streak of scoreless quarters to 14 in the team’s eighth straight win. Next week: at Longmont, 7 p.m. Oct. 27

4. Montrose (7-2) won at No. 10 Mesa Ridge, 46-31: The Red Hawks topped 40 points for the seventh straight week — all wins — with Blake Griffin scoring four TDS (three running, one receiving) and Torrie Eckerman three TDS in a league title-clinching win. Next week: vs. Pueblo West, 6 p.m. Oct. 28

5. Ponderosa (7-2) won at Thomas Jefferson, 7-6:

The Mustangs survived a defensive slugfest against the Spartans with a late first-half touchdown and extra point proving to be the difference. Next week: vs. Bear Creek, 7 p.m. Oct. 27

6. Denver South (7-1) at Far Northeast, 1 p.m. Saturday: The Ravens are going for their fifth straight win and second in a row against a DPS rival this season. Next week: vs. Thomas Jefferson, 4 p.m. Oct. 28

7. Vista Ridge (6-2) at Rampart: Late Friday. Next week: vs. No. 1 Palmer Ridge, 7 p.m. Oct. 28

8. Fruita Monument (6-3) lost at No. 2 Broomfield, 2114: Late Friday. Next week: at Adams City, 2 p.m. Oct. 29

9. Heritage (7-2) won at Aurora Central, 45-3: The Heritage defense held an opponent under 10 points for the sixth time in seven weeks to remain unbeaten against 4A opposition this season. Next week: vs. No. 2 Broomfield, 7p.m. Oct. 28

10. Mesa Ridge (6-3) lost vs. No. 4 Montrose, 46-31: Bryce Riehl tossed three TD passes and ran for another, but it wasn’t enough to match points with the Red Hawks. Next week: at Falcon, 7 p.m. Oct. 28
