Third baseman Warming Bernabel (the club’s No. 10 prospect according to MLB Pipeline) was optioned to Double-a Hartford. The Rockies also reassigned eight players to minor league camp — infielders Connor Kaiser, Grant Lavigne and Ryan Ritter; outfielder­s Benny Montgomery and Bladimir Restituyo; left-handed pitchers Carson Palmquist and Joe Rock; and right-hander Kyle Wilcox.
