No. 5 USC upsets No. 2 Stanford for the Pac-12 title
LAS VEGAS>> Mckenzie Forbes scored 26 points and No. 5 Southern California beat No. 2 Stanford 74-61 on Sunday to win the Pac-12 Tournament championship and earn the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
The Trojans (26-5) played in the championship game for the first time since 2014, when they also defeated Stanford. That was their only other tournament title.
USC freshman sensation Juju Watkins finished with nine points on 2-of-15 shooting. It was the first time she didn’t score in double figures. Cameron Brink led the Cardinal (285) with 19 points.
NO. 3 IOWA 94, NEBRASKA 89, OT>> Caitlin Clark overcame a cold start to score 30 of her 34 points after halftime and help Iowa rally past Nebraska in overtime to win a third straight Big Ten Tournament.
Hannah Stuelke had 25 points and nine rebounds for the Hawkeyes (29-4).
The all-time NCAA leading scorer hit a 3-pointer with 51 seconds left in OT for an 89-87 lead just 16 seconds after Logan Nissley’s 3 had put the Cornhuskers in front.
Alexis Markowski had 23 points and 13 rebounds to lead Nebraska (22-11).
NO. 14 NOTRE DAME 55,
NO. 10 NORTH CAROLINA STATE 51>> Star freshman Hannah Hidalgo had 22 points, including a pair of baskets for the lead down the stretch, and Notre Dame (26-6) beat North Carolina state in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament championship game.
River Baldwin had 14 points and seven rebounds to lead N.C. State (27-6).
NO. 9 UCONN 59, MARQUETTE 29>> Paige Bueckers had 27 points and 12 rebounds to lead Uconn (28-5) past Marquette in the Big East Tournament semifinals.
Liza Karlen had 12 points and nine rebounds to lead Marquette (23-8).
GEORGETOWN 55, NO. 21 CREIGHTON 46>> Kelsey Ransom scored 14 points to lead sixth-seeded Georgetown to a 55-46 upset of No. 21 Creighton in the Big East Tournament semifinals.
Morgan Maly had 14 points, but hit just five of her 15 shots for the No. 2 seed Bluejays (25-5).

Zach Edey’s leads No. 3 Boilermakers past Wisconsin
WEST LAFAYETTE, IND.>> Zach Edey had 25 points and 14 rebounds in his home finale, becoming the first Big Ten player to exceed 2,200 career points and 1,200 boards, and No. 3 Purdue (283, 17-3) beat Wisconsin 78-70. Purdue’s seniors won their 59th conference game, matching the league record for victories over a four-year span set by Indiana from 197276.
John Blackwell scored 18 points for the Badgers (19-12, 11-9).
NO. 12 ILLINOIS 73, IOWA
61>> Terrence Shannon Jr. scored 25 points, Quincy Guerrier had 14 points and 13 rebounds, and No. 12 Illinois beat Iowa 7361. The Illini (23-8, 14-6 Big Ten) built a big early lead, then pulled away late in the second half.
Payton Sandfort led Iowa (18-13, 10-10) with 23 points.
