April is National Poetry Month!
A Moreno Valley/Enchanted Circle Poetry Group held its first meeting March 18 at the Shuter Library of Angel Fire. The gathering was well- attended and full- of- fun as both novice and practiced poets from Angel Fire, Black Lake, Eagle Nest and all around the Enchanted Circle shared poetry and conversation. Monthly free gatherings are being planned, again at the Shuter Library. Two related Moreno Valley Poetry Facebook pages have also been created, one for posting of poems, the other for announcing events. For meeting specifics, contact Tammie McDonald via The Shuter Library.
Fixed and Free Poetry next meeting is April 25, 6pm of the New Mexico open-reading group which meets online via Zoom once every month (last Thursday of each month) and which also publishes a print Fixed & Free Quarterly anthology every third month—latest issue is March 2024. Contact for both the online meetings and the anthology is via the host Billy Brown welbert53@aol.com
