St. Marys beats Bath

The St. Marys Roughrider­s volleyball team swept Western Buckeye League foe Bath 25-11, 25-14, 25-3 on Tuesday at Memorial High School.

Claire Bertke led the Roughrider­s (4-11, 3-4 WBL) with six service aces and six kills. Leah Walter produced a team-high 11 kills, followed by six from Halle Huston while Syerra Greber recorded 10 digs and three aces.

Cora Rable collected 12 assists, followed by nine from Lily Rammel and Kelsey Poppe tallied 10 digs.

The junior varsity won in two sets 25-7, 25-17 as well as the freshman game 25-21, 25-9.

The Roughrider­s will play Thursday at Celina.

NEW BREMEN 3, LEHMAN CATHOLIC 0

NEW BREMEN — The New Bremen swept Lehman Catholic 25-13, 25-10, 25-16 in a non-conference volleyball match on Tuesday.

Elli Roetgerman led the Cardinals (18-1) with 12 kills, followed by nine from Kaylee Fruend and Ellie Tangeman.

Diana Heitkamp recorded 13 digs and Claire Pape collected 26 assists.

The New Bremen junior varsity team won 25-8, 25-10.

The Cardinals will host Marion Local on Thursday.

__ MINSTER 3, PANDORA-GILBOA 1

MINSTER — The Minster Wildcats volleyball team defeated Pandora-Gilboa 25-14, 25-20, 20-25, 25-16 in a non-conference volleyball match on Tuesday.

Ivy Wolf led the Wildcats (8-6) with 16 kills and 18 digs, followed by Lily Barhorst with 15 kills and nine digs.

Alyssa Niemeyer produced 14 kills and six digs and Dana Prenger tallied seven kills.

Jayden Clune collected 51 assists and recorded 14 digs, followed by Ava Grieshop with 11 digs. Ava Sharp led the team with 37 digs.
