Celina Insurance Group promotes Barb Elking

CELINA — Celina Insurance Group recently promoted Barb Elking to director of claims.

Elking began her career at Celina in 1997 as a claim representa­tive. Since then, she has occupied numerous roles including subrogatio­n special‑ ist and claims manager. As claims manager, she managed the auto material damage and casualty units and supervised the administra­tive depart‑ ment. She became senior claims manager of the same unit a few years later. Most recently, Elking served as senior claims and litigation manager.

“Barb lives and breathes our core value of get‑ ting the job done,” said Ted Wissman, vice presi‑ dent of claims at Celina Insurance Group. “For the past 15 years in management, Barb always gets the job done right and on schedule.”

She has earned numerous insurance desig‑ nations including Associate in Claims (AIC),

Chartered Property Casualty

Underwrite­r (CPCU), Associate in Management (AIM) and Cer‑ tified Subrogatio­n Recovery Pro‑ fessional (CSRP).

Celina Insurance Group rec‑ ognizes Elking’s achievemen­ts and looks forward to her contin‑ ued success at the company. She resides in Coldwater with her husband, Frank. She has three children and four grandchild­ren.
