The St. Marys Police Department issued nine citations and responded to the following incidents from Dec. 19 to Dec. 23.

Dec. 19

• Officers assisted with an emotional male on the 400 block of North Pine Street at 3:48 p.m.

• The department received a report of a dog bite on the 300 block of Scott Street at 5:48 p.m.

• Theft was reported at 7:30 p.m. on the 400 block of Fortman Drive.

Dec. 20

• Burglary was investigat­ed at 12:32 a.m. on the 200 block of North Pine Street. As a result of the investigat­ion, officers arrested Jackson Harris.

Dec. 21

• Officers were called to Greenville Road in reference to a theft report at 9:27 p.m.

• Assault was reported at 4:41 p.m. on the 100 block of East Spring Street.

Dec. 22

• At 5:46 p.m., officers responded to a non-injury crash at the intersecti­on of Main Street and Indiana Avenue. A 2016 Chrysler sedan was stopped at a stop sign on Indiana Avenue and proceeded through the intersecti­on, striking a 2000 Ford pickup that was attempting to turn from Main Street to Indiana Avenue.

Dec. 23

• Officers were called to the 1600 block of Celina Road at 12:32 p.m. in reference to a criminal trespassin­g complaint.

• A private property crash was investigat­ed on the 200 block of East High Street at 3:52 p.m.

• At 7:59 p.m., officers responded to a non-injury crash at the intersecti­on of Court Street and West Spring Street. A 2007 Toyota was stopped at the stop sign on Court Street and turned turn onto Spring Street. The Toyota failed to yield to an oncoming 2016 Ford, causing the Ford to strike the Toyota’s right rear door and causing minor damage to both vehicles.
