Success continues for NB FFA
New Bremen FFA chapter was recently recognized as top 10 chapter in state
The New Bremen FFA was recently announced as a Top Ten Chapter in Ohio by the Ohio FFA Association through the National Chapter Award Program. The program recognizes chapters for their outstanding activities that grow leaders, builds communities and strengthens agriculture. The chapter was evaluated based on nine different activities they conducted in 2020. The chapter was also named as a Top Ten Chapter in each of three areas of the National Chapter Award Program Quality Standards which includes Growing Leaders, Strengthening Agriculture and Building Communities. The chapter will participate in virtual presentations to determine the winner in each of the three quality standard areas and will be announced during the Virtual State Convention in April.
In addition to the overall success of the club, nine members of the New Bremen FFA will receive their State FFA Degrees in April, which is the most recipients that chapter has had in 20 years.
New Bremen FFA members recently participated in the state evaluation process including State and American degrees, officer books and proficiency applications. The chapter had three students complete these
applications and all students have been named state finalists (top four in the state) for their pro

These students conducted virtual interviews on March 25 to determine their final placings, which will be announced on April 30 during the Virtual State FFA Convention. In order for students to earn their state degrees, they must have earned or invested $3,000 in their Supervised
