Frank’s Forecast
Hi-de-ho, neighbors! As you can see above, I have officially given up on writing headlines for this little exercise, and will go forth under the “Frank’s Forecast” banner.
Taking a check of last week’s results, I had what I believe is my best week so far, going 17-3, with just one miss at each level. Doesn’t happen often, but it’s a nice thing when it does. Overall, that puts me at 81-39.
Time to jump on in and see what’s fine about week nine:
WBL
Bath (5-3) at St. Marys (6-2) — Roughriders close out the regular season home slate with what should be an entertaining game. Key thing is to keep everybody in good shape for the playoffs. Bring the umbrellas for this one….ST. MARYS by 10
Celina (1-7) at Wapakoneta (6-2) — Redskins won in OT to stay in second place, while Bulldogs are playing out the string….WAPAKONETA by 21
Van Wert (7-1) at Elida (4-4) — Cougars will handle Elida just like St. Marys did to keep hold of the top spot….VAN
——— MAC
Coldwater (7-1) at Marion Local (8-0) — Top dogs in the MAC have a showdown. Might be lower scoring due to weather, but still should be dandy, with OT a possibility….MARION LOCAL by 6
Anna (3-5) at Minster (0-7) — Wildcats are celebrating Homecoming, so hopefully they can get a victory here against the Rockets, who have dropped four straight….MINSTER by 7
New Bremen (5-3) at Parkway (1-7) — Cardinals gave a good fight against Flyers. Won’t need that much effort handle the Panthers….. NEW BREMEN by 21
Versailles (7-1) at St. Henry (6-2) — Redskinks knocked off Coldwater a couple weeks ago. Tigers have come the closest to beating Marion Local. Tough choice, so go with the home squad…ST. HENRY by 7
——— NCAA
Central Florida (3-2) at #3 Cincinnati (5-0) — The highest-ranked team in the state of Ohio
