10 Years Ago (2011) The Minster football team improved to 5-2 on the season and 3-2 in the Midwest Athletic Conference with an easy 34-7 victory over St. Henry. A 1-yard run by Adam Niemeyer put the Orange and Black in charge 7-0 after the first quarter, and although St. Henry knotted things up at the onset of the second quarter, a touchdown reception by Devon Poeppelman and another Niemeyer run helped bump the Wildcats’ cushion to 21-7 at halftime. Poeppelman’s second reception from Niemeyer in the third quarter and a 78-yard run by Korey Schultz in the fourth stanza, added to Minster’s cause as they enjoyed the 27-point victory. ———
