Marjorie “Marge” E. Tangeman, 78, of St. Marys, passed away at 4:05 pm on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 at at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. She was born May 8, 1943 in Indianapol­is, Indiana to the late Rev. Earl and Iva Mae (Ringley) Vore. On Feb. 1, 1969 she married Tommy Tangeman and he survives at the residence in St. Marys.

Other survivors include her children Jason (Melissa) Tangeman of St. Marys and Cheryl (Eric) Rieger of St. Marys; two sisters, Virginia (Tom) Briley of Wapakoneta and Rebecca (Keith) Holton of Catawba, Ohio and four grandchild­ren: Abby, Cody, Alayna and Luccus.

Also preceded in death by three siblings: Beverly Tidrow, Phil Vore and Shirley Vore.

Marge was a 1961 graduate of Royerton High School in Royerton, Indiana. She worked various jobs throughout her life, but her most important job was raising her two children.

She was a 52-year member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys.

Marge enjoyed listening to the Riders on the radio, singing in the church choir, playing games on her iPad and most of all spending time and texting her grandchild­ren.

Visitation will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Cisco Funeral Homes in St. Marys.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, at Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys, with Pastor Tim Benjamin officiatin­g. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
