OCTOBER

Oct. 23: The St. Marys Chili Cook-Off begins today. Judging starts at 3:30 p.m. Contestant entry deadline is Oct. 15. Visit Friendly Tavern to sign up. Entry fee is $40 which includes a T-shirt. Proceeds benefit the St. Marys All Abilities Park.

Oct. 25: New Bremen Village Council will meet today at 6:30 p.m.

St. Marys City Council will meet today at 6:30 p.m.

Oct. 26: The New Bremen New Knoxville Rotary Club will meet at 7:30 a.m. today at Speedway Lanes.

The Halloween Parade in St. Marys begins at 6 p.m. Participan­ts are to line up at the Chestnut Street parking lot, north of the St. Marys Community Public Library, beginning at 5:15 p.m.

HallowNeon Night will take place downtown following the parade.

Oct. 27: The St. Marys Rotary Club will meet at noon today at the Eagles in St. Marys.

The Civil Service Commission will meet at 4 p.m. at the city office, 101. E. Spring St., to set a date and time for the police exam.

Oct. 30: The Haunted Trail begins at 7 p.m. at the High Street Shelter House.

NOVEMBER

Nov. 2: The New Bremen New Knoxville Rotary Club will meet at 7:30 a.m. today at Speedway Lanes.

Nov. 3: The St. Marys Rotary Club will meet at noon today at the Eagles in St. Marys.

The United Methodist Women of Wayne St United Methodist Church present the annual Farmers’ Meal and Country Store today from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.. Meal includes choice of entree, choice of potato, green beans, cole slaw, dinner roll and slice of pie or cake. The cost is $9 per person. Eat-in and carry-out options are available.

Nov. 6: The Lake Improvemen­t Associatio­n will meet at 10 a.m. at the Celina Moose.

Nov. 8: New Bremen Village Council will meet today at 6:30 p.m.
