St. Marys Police Department

The St. Marys Police Department issued citations and responded to the following incidents from May 10 to May 15. May 10

• At 7:20 a.m., officers arrived at the 300 block of Sturgeon Street to investigate reports of a theft complaint in the area.

• At 8:57 p.m., officers were called to investigate a theft complaint at the 200 block of South Ash Street.

• At 11:09 p.m., the SMPD located and arrested Kevin Turner at the 600 block of Red Oak Drive on an outstanding warrant.

May 11

• At 8:06 p.m., the police were called to East Spring Street in order to investigate some pieces of property that werer found in the city.

May 12

• At 11:13 a.m., officers were called to the 400 block of Columbia Street in order to investigate a complaint.

• At 3:58 p.m., the police were called to the 100 block of East Spring Street in relation to a menacing complaint.

• At 10:59 p.m., the SMPD were called to investigate a menacing complaint at the 200 block of North Perry Street.

May 13

• At 4:20 a.m., the police were called to the 100 block of South Front Street in relation to an emotional person in the area.

• At 2:36 p.m., the St. Marys Police Department investigated reports of a protection order violation.

• At 6:10 p.m., officers investigated reports of a private property collision at the 400 block of Fortman Drive.

• At 6:58 p.m., officers were called to Greenville Road in relation to a private property crash in K.C. Geiger Park.

May 14

• At 6:11 a.m., the SMPD investigated a case of criminal mischief at the 200 block of Cherry Street.

• At 6:53 p.m., officers arrested Israele Shaffer on an outstanding warrant on Columbia Street.

May 15

• At 7:53 a.m., a theft complaint was reported to police at the 100 block of North Wayne Street.

• At 8:00 a.m., the police investigated a theft complaint at the 700 block of North Augustus Street.

• At 8:45 a.m., the SMPD investigated reports a theft complaint at the 700 block of North Augustus Street.

• At 3:21 p.m., the police were called to the 300 block of North Front Street involving a complaint of illegal distribution of cigarette products.

• At 5:27 p.m., officers were sent to the 400 block of Beech Street in relation to a menacing complaint.

• At 7:09 p.m., an investigation was conducted by police at the 100 block of East High Street in relation to an assault.

• At 7:53 p.m., the police were called to the 200 block of North Chestnut Street in order to investigate a theft complaint.
