St. Marys Police Department
The St. Marys Police Department issued citations and responded to the following incidents from May 19 to May 28.
May 19
• At 9:49 p.m., the SMPD investigated reports of a protection order violation at the 900 block of West Spring Street.
May 20
• At 6:47 p.m., an accident was reported at the intersection of Spruce and High Street when a vehicle failed to stop, resulting in a rear end collision.
May 21
• At 7:21 p.m., the police arrested a man at the 700 block of Gordon Grove for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
May 22
• At 6:52 p.m., the police arrested Jessica Smith at the 700 block of North Augustus Street in relation to a warrant.
• At 11:01 p.m., the police investigated reports of a telecommunications harassment complaint at the 400 block of Scott Street.
May 24
• At 9:31 a.m., the St. Marys Police Department received a walk-in complaint involving a protection order violation.
• At 10:45 a.m., an accident was reported at the intersection of Wayne Street and High Street after a vehicle was struck while crossing an intersection.
May 25
• At 12:20 p.m., the police responded to reports of a male harming himself at the 700 block of Stoneybrook Drive.
• At 3:17 p.m., an accident was reported at the 100 block of West Spring Street after a vehicle backing out was struck by another vehicle traveling down the street, resulting in nonfunctional damage for both vehicles.
May 26
• At 9:28 p.m., officers were called out to the 300 block of North Spruce Street in relation to a missing juvenile, who was found and returned home.
May 27
• At 11:16 a.m., the police responded to reports of a fraud complaint at the 2000 block of Cheshire Drive.
• At 9:36 p.m., the police were called out to the 300 block of Webb Street in order to deal with a trespassing complaint.
May 28
• At 12:40 p.m., officers received reports of a trespassing complaint at the 100 block of West Spring Street.
• At 6:10 p.m., the police arrived at the 300 block of Beech Street in relation to a trespassing complaint.
