Picking Day, at field near

Fort Morgan. Sweet corn picked will be donated to Food Bank of the Rockies. Volunteers needed. Volunteers get free BBQ lunch and water, plus sweet corn to take home.

Directions to sweet corn field: From Morgan County Road Q, travel east to MCR 15. Turn left and travel north on MCR 15 for .5 mile. Turn right into field. Do not turn into the house. The field is north of the house about ½ mile. Notes: Picking sweet corn is a physical activity that will require arm, leg, and back strength in hot conditions. Wear work clothes, closed toe shoes, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, and bug spray. Bring a lawn chair and a popup sunshade or umbrella for seating and shade during lunch.
