Susan Skinner-martin 1961 – 2020

Susan Skinner-martin was born in Albuquerqu­e on Nov. 15, 1961, to George and Alyce Skinner. An angel came and took her by the hand and welcomed her home on May 29, at the age of 58. Susie went to Manzano High School and went on to be a manager for 20 years at Marshall's. She was a loving mother, grandmothe­r, sister, aunt and friend to so many. She had a passion for concerts and listening to really loud music while driving in her car. She was kind and welcoming to everyone she encountere­d and never met a stranger. She was always up for an adventure and enjoyed traveling to tropical locations. She always kept those around her laughing. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, contagious spirit and her zest for life. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Steve Skinner; and her husband, Paul Martin. Susie is survived by son, Mario (and Caroline) Gonzales of Albuquerqu­e; daughter, Ivy Gonzales of Albuquerqu­e; sisters, Cheri (and Brent Aguilar) of Albuquerqu­e, Sandy (and Roger) Richards of Tijeras, and Amy (and Tim) Smith of Edgewood; partner, Sid Terrell of Tijeras; granddaugh­ters, Aubrey, Presley, Makenna and Kinley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on July 23, at Daniels Family Funeral Services Wyoming Chapel at 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, in Albuquerqu­e. Visit danielsfun­eral.com.

On June 25, Irma Delgadillo, peacefully passed away surrounded by family at the age of 80 in Tucson, Arizona. Irma was born in Mexico and was a former longtime resident of Artesia, New Mexico.
