Larry Everett Dennisson, 79, lifetime resident of Stanley, passed away April 10, at his home with his loving family beside him. Larry was born on July 27, 1942, in Santa Fe, to Everett Solomon and Mary Mae (Gates) Dennisson. Larry married Dorothy Nell Braddock in Moriarty. Larry was a volunteer fireman in Stanley for 17 years. He worked with Uncle Curry Dennisson Contractor­s; Larry was the owner-operator of Dennisson Drilling which remains the oldest active license to date. Larry was our rock, Dad, husband, friend, teacher, and mediator. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lenore Todd, Addie Jo Smith, Marilyn Kempikic and Clara Virginia Dennisson; and brother, James Lloyd Dennisson. Larry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Dennisson of Stanley; sons, Ronnie Dennisson and Venetia of Datil, Thomas Dennisson and Theresa of Mcintosh, Wesley Dennisson and Michelle of Stanley, Leo Dennisson and Louise of Stanley; grandchild­ren, Jenny, Dusty and wife Andrea, Derek, Timothy, Jessica and husband Felipe, Sharlottee and life partner Lukas, Naomi, Billie Jo and husband CJ, Mary and husband Julian, Charles, Britney and husband Justin, Chelsea, Sean and wife Megan, Jessica, Lacey and husband Westley, Dillon and wife Rachel; 28 great-grandchild­ren; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside memorial services will be held May 1 at 1 p.m. at the Stanley Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Stanley Community Center. Funeral arrangemen­ts were entrusted to Harris-hanlon Mortuary.
