Miller elected president of Kutztown Fair Board.
Ron Miller of Bernville, longtime advocate and fair supporter, has been elected as president of the 2017 Kutztown Fair Board of Directors. Miller succeeds Richard Dry, who served as president of the Fair organization for 14 years.
Miller, who has a storied history of fair administration and participation, thanked Dry for his years of service and noted with appreciation that Dry will continue on as a board member and will work as the Grounds Keeper for the fairgrounds.
In addition to Miller, Lolly Lesher of Bernville, was elected to serve as vice president. Don Sechler of Kutztown was reelected as secretary for the Fair and Richard Munson, also of Kutztown, was re-elected to serve as treasurer.
The board of directors meet each month to plan the up-coming fair and to discuss business pertaining the fairgrounds. The Kutztown Fair will be celebrating its 146th year in August 2017. The annual sponsorship campaign is underway and anyone interested in being a fair sponsor or volunteer at the Fair is encouraged to contact a fair board member or call the fair office 610683-7696.
