KASMA hosts 21st annual Pot Pie Dinner
Band, vocal performances by students in all grade levels
Each year Kutztown Area School Music Association organizes their Pot Pie Dinner offering the entire community an opportunity to join them in celebrating the Kutztown School District Music Programs.
The 21st Annual Pot Pie Dinner will be held on Friday, March 3 at the Kutztown Middle School Commons from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Snow date is Saturday, March 4.
The 2017 Pot Pie Dinner is expected to include performances by all of the Kutztown Area School District Musical Ensembles, elementary school through senior high school. Those in attendance will be treated to both band and vocal performances and may purchase either a Pot Pie or Mac and Cheese Dinner to enjoy during the event. In addition, a raffle consisting of prizes and baskets donated from local businesses and KASMA families will be available for bidding throughout the event.
The Pot Pie Dinner has something for both music lovers and the general public.
“Each year alumni, family, and friends gather to enjoy the perfected performances of the musical groups, and the traditional food fair served. It feels like a family reunion to me,” said Nancy Brooks, KASMA Board President. “The best part of the annual KASMA (Kutztown Area School Music Association) Pot Pie Dinner is having all of the school district music groups performing on the same evening, and seeing how the students have grown in their talents and capabilities as they mature.”
Enos Bleiler, Co-Chair of the event, said he has been volunteering at this event for many years. “Everyone seems to really enjoy and look forward to the Pot Pie Dinner!”
