The first part of the program will feature Lara Ostraric, professor of philosophy at Temple University. Following Ostraric, KU faculty members Heather Thomas, M. Ashraf Adeel, Claire McQuerry, Marqaux Griffith and KU student volunteers will present poetry readings celebrating American women. April 1 27th annual Kutztown Fools Run: hosted by The Optimist Club of Kutztown at 9 a.m. on College Boulevard with Concern Professional Services 10 mile run, Sally Miksiewicz Memorial 5K run, and Kutztown Bottling Works 2 mile walk. Age group winners receive gift certificates and medals for the top 3 finishers in each age group. Proceeds provide scholarships to seniors from Brandywine Heights, Fleetwood, Hamburg and Kutztown planning to attend Kutztown University.
