March Students of the Month
Fleetwood Area High School named Tyler Manmiller and Katelyn Schoener March Students of the Month.
Tyler Manmiller
Tyler is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Manmiller of Fleetwood. Tyler’s future plans include attending Alvernia University to major in Criminal Justice. Tyler has been involved in the following clubs at Fleetwood Area High School: Baseball, Orchestra, President of Orchestra Club, and Mini-Thon participant. Also, Tyler supports his community by dedicating his time as a volunteer to the Fleetwood Volunteer Fire Company, church, soup kitchen, food pantry, assisting the middle school orchestra and a staff member at the Annual Fleetwood Carnival. Tyler really admires his grandfather. Tyler states that Larry Manmiller is an amazing man who because of persistence and hard work shows Tyler the person he wants to be in the future.
Katelyn Schoener
Katelyn is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Schoener of Fleetwood. Katelyn’s future plans include attending Alvernia University where she will look to obtain her doctorate in Physical Therapy while continuing her passion for soccer by playing for the university’s team. Katelyn has been involved in the following clubs/activities at Fleetwood Area High School: basketball, soccer, track and field, Future Business Leaders of America, Student Council, Relay for Life and National Honor Society. Also, Katelyn has dedicated herself to the community by being actively involved in volunteering at Breakfast Brothers, Animal Rescue League, food bank, running in local charitable 5Ks, and fundraising for Rett Syndrome.
