As funeral directors worked to plan farewell tributes to three people who were brutally killed execution-style, supporters were busy moving furniture out of a Warren family’s home where much of the violence took place.

People couldbe seen Sunday afternoon taking furniture, clothing and a basketball net out of the home on the 2100 block of Otis Avenue, near Nine Mile and Dequindre roads, where at least two of the victims of a triple homicide were killed last week.

The bodies of Isis Rimson, 28, and 6- year-old Tai’ raz Moore were found Thursday morning in the basement of the 800-square-foot home on Otis.

Police had gone to the house to conduct a welfare check after the body of Tai’raz’s father, Tukoyo Moore, 31, had been found

hours earlier in a burning car about 12 miles away on Detroit’s east side. All three had been fatally shot.

The little boy’s grandmother set upaGoFundMe. com account to accept donations for funeral costs for Tai’raz.

“Tai’raz was a vibrant little boy who loved to tease and laugh,” Maurie Thompson wrote on the page. “He will be dearly missed. Our hearts are broken and souls empty without him.”

All three victims died from bullet wounds fired at close range to the back of their heads, according to police.

Warren police were not available for comment on the gruesome murders, which shocked the south Warren community. Police say it appears drugs may have been a motive in the shootings.

Investigators spent hours at the Otis home Thursday collecting evidence, searching for doorbell or surveillance camera footage, and interviewing friends and neighbors of the three

victims as the hunt for their killer or killers continued.

Brittany Thompson, the little boy’s mother, posted numerous photos of Tai’raz on her Facebook page as she sought to remember the good times with her child. But she issued a message to people who may have information relating the homicides and haven’t come forward.

“One thing for sure the streets talk and y’all definitely like to go home and pillow talk and whoever know something about my baby and won’t speak up...

in my eyes you killed my six year old son too,” shewrote in a post Sunday morning.

According to a Detroit police commander, officers found TukoyoMoore’s body inthe back seat of a burnedout car in the Hyde Park community at the Dequindre Cut near downtown Detroit around 4 a.m. Thursday. Tukoyo was the father of Tai-raz and Rimson’s boyfriend. They resided at the Otis Avenue home.

The carwas registered to an address on Otis in Warren. Detroit police asked their counterparts in Warren to notify the family of the discovery of the man’s body and conduct a welfare check.

When Warren officers arrived on Otis, they found the door open. After entering the house, police found the victims’ bodies.

Meanwhi le, Maurie Thompson, the little boy’s grandmother, sent her heartfelt thanks to the community for their “outpouring of love, kindness and generosity.” As of 7 p.m. Sunday, 762 people haddonated

$25,700 to the GoFundMe account.

She said the family was “truly amazing” by the community’s show of goodwill.

Thompson hopes to start a foundation in Tai’raz’s name to help battered women and children who have suffered abuse and/or violence. She described the youngster as being a “protective and loving little boy andalways concernedabout the well being of others, especially his younger siblings, cousins and relatives,” she said on the GoFundMe page.

The grandmother also warned the public that there is only one GoFundMe page. She said someone was passing out flyers advertising a collection being taken for funeral services, but that isnot authorized by the family.

“It’s sad we have individuals who will be malicious enough to use this situation for their own selfish gain,” she wrote.

The authorized page can be found at www.gofundme.com/f/tai039razmoore.
