Oakland County passed a mask mandate Saturday, while Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel issued a declaration Monday stating “Macomb County will continue to operate as it did before the Court made its decision” unless instructed otherwise. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services also issued a new order “requiring masks, limiting gatherings, and safeguarding nursing homes.”

An additional MD H HS order requires schools to issue public notification of “probable and confirmed COVID-19 cases.”
