Doubts McClain will seek reforms

-

“Disappointing” is an accurate word to describe the start of newly elected U.S. House of Representative Lisa McClain (R-10th District). McClain cast her first vote in the U.S. Congress in support of President Trump’s false, discredited, and inflammatory lie, that his defeat was the result of a “stolen election.” If McClain is going to continue to bow to dictates from GOP party masters, instead of standing up for “truth,” and supporting what is best for 330 million Americans, how will that make her different from Democrats who do the same, and whom Republicans rightfully condemn?

Unthinking puppets from both political parties are bigger threats to America democracy than foreign adversaries. A deeply flawed, but master manipulator, Donald Trump, spent much of the past 4½ years falsely claiming the only reason he could lose an election was because it was “rigged.” That Trump lie implied hundreds-of-thousands of election workers in precincts across America, as I was in Roseville, along with countless local clerks, county and state officials, were corrupt, and part of the most widespread political conspiracy in American history — but only in Democratic controlled areas.

That Trump lie continues to divide our great country even after over 60 Trump lawsuits have been thrown out, or ruled against, by Republican, Democrat, and Independent, which they all should be, State, Federal, and even Supreme Court judges/justices. Statements such as “I think we can do better as it pertains to voter integrity,” “I have a lot of grave concerns about the process,” and “it was not faithfully upheld” will probably be the last we hear concerning election reforms from Rep McClain. Honest, well-thought out proposals, such as changing terms for U.S. reps from 2 to 4, or 6 years to help correct the election process she claims to be so concerned about, will undoubtedly not get any more of her attention as she decides to laser-focus, as most other U.S. Reps will, on a far more important item — getting reelected next year. It’s a miracle America hasn’t been subjected to more political riots than the one that took place in Washington, D.C. this past week.
