Two teens from Detroit were charged Thursday in connection with the fatal shooting of a Macomb County teen and two of her friends during a robbery on the city’s west side.

Patrick White, 17, and Jayshun White, 18, were named in arrest warrants issued by Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy. They are charged with multiple felonies and are expected to be arraigned today in 36th District Court.

A third suspect, Jarvis Nathaniel Fisher II, 18 of Detroit, was also charged in the fatal shooting on March 1.

According to prosecutors, the trio is accused of ambushing and killing a 17-year-old female from Warren.

Investigators said a 19-year-old Hazel Park man was driving a BMW with the two female passengers when the gunfire broke out about 6 p.m. Feb. 22. Fisher allegedly pulled up alongside of their vehicle and began attacking them during a robbery.

The other passenger was also a 17-year-old from Warren, prosecutors said.

The young woman who was killed was sitting the backseat when the shooting took place on Clayburn and Majestic streets, near the Southfield Freeway and Interstate 96. She was transported to an area hospital where she died, according to prosecutors.

It is not known if the occupants of the two vehicles knew each other or why the victims were targeted.

Worthy said no further information is being released because the investigation is ongoing. The shooting victim’s name has not been publicly disclosed.

The White brothers were both charged with felony murder, two counts of assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to rob while armed, and four counts of felony firearm.

All three suspects are being held without bond in the Wayne County Jail.
