Kroger Co. looking for new workers in Saturday hiring event
Kroger Co. of Michigan is holding a hiring event Saturday to fill up to 2,000 associate positions.
The initiative is an effort by Kroger to bolster its workforce as well as fill vacancies created by employees who have resigned for other opportunities as is the case with many sectors of the economy.
“As we continue to navigate through many factors that are making the entire labor market tight and are responding to the everchanging needs of our business. Kroger is always looking to hire passionate associates interested in coming for a job and staying for a career with our family of stores,” said Rachel Hurst, corporate affairs manager for the grocer.
Prospective employees should visit thekrogerco. com/careers/spring-hiringevent to start the process. They will be invited to either apply online or come into a local store in person.

The hiring event is part of an effort to add 23,000 positions nationwide.
