The following list includes movies available at local theaters, and movies that are available to watch through online streaming and video on demand services including: Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, Hulu, Vudu, FandangoNo­w, Apple TV+, YouTube, Disney+, HBO Max and more.

SHOWING AT THEATERS

• “Memory” (R): When Alex, an expert assassin, refuses to complete a job for a dangerous criminal organizati­on, he becomes a target. FBI agents and Mexican intelligen­ce are brought in to investigat­e the trail of bodies, leading them closer to Alex. With the crime syndicate and FBI in hot pursuit, Alex has the skills to stay ahead, except he is struggling with severe memory loss. Starring Liam Neeson, Monica Bellucci, Taj Atwal and Guy Pearce. Available in theaters, April 29.

• “The Bad Guys” (PG): Computer-animated action comedy from DreamWorks Animation, based on the book series of the same name, a crackerjac­k criminal crew of animal outlaws pose as model citizens in order to avoid prison. Starring Sam Rockwell, Craig Robinson and Anthony Ramos.

• “The Northman” (R): Robert Eggers directs this action-filled epic that follows a young Viking prince on his quest to avenge his father’s murder. Starring Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman and Claes Bang, Ethan Hawke, Björk and Willem Dafoe.

• “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent“(R): Nicolas Cage stars in this film about a fictionali­zed version of himself. Cage must accept a $1million offer to attend the birthday of a dangerous superfan (Pedro Pascal). Also starring Sharon Horgan, Ike Barinholtz and Alessandra Mastronard­i.

• “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” (PG-13): The newest adventure in the Wizarding World franchise centered on Harry Potter novels by J.K. Rowling. Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) gathers a team to stop dark wizard Gellert Grindelwal­d (Mads Mikkelsen) from seizing control of the wizarding world. Also starring Eddie Redmayne, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol and Ezra Miller.

• “Father Stu” (R): When an injury ends his amateur boxing career, Stuart Long (Mark Wahlberg), moves to Los Angeles. While scraping by as a supermarke­t clerk, he meets Carmen, a Sunday school teacher. Also starring Jacki Weaver, Mel Gibson and Teresa Ruiz.

• “Sonic-The Hedgehog 2”:

Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz), is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero in this sequel.

His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizati­ons. Also starring James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and Natasha Rothwell.

• “Ambulance” (R): A breakneck thriller where decorated veteran Will Sharp (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), desperate for money to cover his wife’s medical bills, asks for help from his adoptive brother Danny (Jake Gyllenhaal) who offers him a score: the biggest bank heist in Los Angeles history.

• “Everything Everywhere All at Once” (R): Comedic sci-fi action adventure about an exhausted Chinese American woman (Michelle Yeoh) who can’t seem to finish her taxes. Also starring Stephanie Hsu, Ke Huy Quan, Jenny Slate, Harry Shum Jr., with James Hong and Jamie Lee Curtis.

• “The Contractor” (R): Discharged from the Army, a special forces sergeant lands a contract with a private undergroun­d military force. His first assignment goes wrong and the soldier finds himself hunted and on the run. Starring Chris Pine, Florian Munteanu, Ben Foster and Gillian Jacobs.

• “Morbius” (PG-13): Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but when his experiment goes wrong, he inadverten­tly infects himself with a form of vampirism instead. Starring Jared Leto, Michael Keaton, Matt Smith and Adria Arjona.

• “The Lost City” (PG-13): Reclusive author Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock) writes about exotic places in her popular romance-adventure novels featuring handsome cover model Alan, (Channing Tatum) as the hero character, “Dash.” While on tour promoting her new book with Alan, Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionair­e who wants her to lead him to the ancient lost city’s treasure from her latest story. Also starring Daniel Radcliffe, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Oscar Nuñez.

• “Infinite Storm” (R): An experience­d climber (Naomi Watts) ascends Mt. Washington, but turns back before she reaches the summit as a huge blizzard approaches. She encounters a lone, stranded man, and attempts to get them both down the mountain before nightfall. Based on a true story. Starring Naomi Watts; Sophie Okonedo and Billy Howle.

• “The Outfit” (R): Thriller in which an expert tailor (Mark

Rylance) must outwit a dangerous group of mobsters in order to survive a fateful night. Also starring Zoey Deutch, Johnny Flynn and Dylan O’Brien.

• “X” (R): In 1979, a group of young filmmakers set out to make an adult film in rural Texas, but when their reclusive, elderly hosts catch them in the act, the cast find themselves fighting for their lives. Starring Mia Goth, Jenna Ortega, Brittany Snow and Scott Mescudi.

• “Jujutsu Kaisen 0” (PG-13): Anime film where Yuta Okkotsu gains control of an extremely powerful, cursed spirit and gets enrolled in the Tokyo Prefectura­l Jujutsu High School by sorcerers to help him control his power and keep an eye on him. Starring Kayleigh McKee, Anairis Quinones.

• “The Batman” (PG-13):

Reboot based on the DC Comics character Batman with Robert Pattinson starring in the dual role of Gotham City’s vigilante detective and his alter ego, reclusive billionair­e Bruce Wayne. When a killer targets Gotham’s elite with a series of sadistic machinatio­ns, the Batman enters into the underworld, where he encounters such characters as Selina Kyle/aka Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz), Oswald Cobblepot/aka the Penguin (Colin Farrell), Carmine Falcone (John Turturro), and Edward Nashton/ aka the Riddler (Paul Dano).

• “Uncharted” (PG-13): Action adventure film with treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) and Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) on a dangerous quest to find a lost treasure. Starring Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Taylor Ali and Antonio Banderas.

• “Shining Girls” TV-MA: Years after a brutal attack left her in a constantly shifting reality, Kirby Mazrachi learns that a recent murder is linked to her assault and teams with a reporter for answers. Starring Elisabeth Moss, Wagner Moura, Philipp

• “The Long Game-Bigger Than Basketball” (TV-14): A docuseries about an NBA hopeful determined to take control of his journey. Makur Maker was a five-star NBA prospect headed to the draft — until a detour led him to Howard University. Available on Apple TV+.
